The arrest of Andrew Elombah by SARS is another sad reminder of the threat to democracy by this present government - Fayose

Ekiti State Governor, Ayodele Fayose has commented to the arrest of Andrew Elombah, a London based Nigerian journalist who reportedly wrote an article criticizing Buhari.
 
Elombah was arrested at his home in Anambra State on January 1, 2017 by men from Federal State Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS).

Fayose said, 'The arrest of Andrew Elombah, a London-based Nigerian journalist, by SARS is another sad reminder of the threat to democracy by this present govt. Unfortunately, they don't seem to realise that the more you arrest & detain a journalist, the more you make him popular'.
