“My mind baffles ― how could a person publicly stand by an organization that helps to provide support for victims of sexual assault while privately preying on people who have no power,” Johansson said Saturday at the Los Angeles Women’s March. “I want my pin back, by the way.”
Johansson refers to Franco's appearance at the 2018 Golden Globe Awards, where he joined other stars in dressing black and donning a Time's Up pin in the initiative of unity, launched to help women combat discrimination in the workplace . According to The Huffington Post, Johansson confirmed that his comments were taught to Franco. Franco rejected the claims of misconduct, and urged the women to continue speaking. He said he had "own side of this story," but it did not share because he supported the movement.
