Presidential Grand Ball 2017 By President Nana Akufo-Addo As Musician Union Of Ghana Honors Music Legends


On December 29, 2017, the banquet hall, the State House, Accra, Ghana, saw heavy gatherings of almost all the legends in the industry for the Presidential Grand Ball of the Ghanaian Music Union, awarded by His Excellency, Nana Akufo-Addo, West Africa, as part of Ace Broadcaster, Kwame Serfa Kayi. In the fifth year, the event focused on paying tribute to the music legends that have contributed to building a strong foundation for a new generation of music sticks to take over, raise funds for musicians and award influential personalities with a great passion for developing the music industry in the country. His excellence, Nana Akufo-Addo, praised the legends of the dedication and the sacrifices they have taken to bring the industry up to the current situation where young people can have something significant to him, also accused young people of not lying but must continue to work more to prove the industry. The account of old musicians' funds was boosted by the auction of musical instruments such as trumpets, flutes, painting, acoustic guitar and pentatonic xenophones belonging to Paapi Yankson, Owurama Bad and Aya Koo Nimo and selected by top business executives. We have seen most of the legends, including Nana Kwame Amapad, A.B Crentsil, Obuoba J.A Adofo, Jawal Ackah, Daddy Lumba and business executives like Akosu Denta Amoateng, Kennedy Agyapong, Oscar Yao Do ....
