Mary J Blige's divorce drama is far from over with her husband Martin "Kendu" Isaacs. Blige is in the midst of marital support battle with her husband Isaacs who recently filed court documents claiming he "experienced physical manifestations of stress and emotional distress" from the affair that led him to be hospitalized.
Isaacs also claimed he’s “unemployable” and this makes it “impossible” for him to pay his rent without the help of Blige.
Isaacs currently receives $30,000 from Blige each month and wants a judge to award him an additional $35,000.
The duo will be going to trial come March. Blige and her former manager tied the knot in 2003, but she filed for divorce in July 2016.
Her most recent album addresses their split, while the 46-year-old already went after Isaac’s alleged affair with her protégé Starshell in her “Strength of a Woman” documentary.
