The White Book issued by the Eti State Government banned former Governor Dr. Kayode Fayemi for ten years holding a public office in the state. The state also banned its former Finance Commissioner, Mr. Dapo Kolawole, for the same number of years.
Two were banned on the basis of a report by the Ekiti Judicial Commission, which accused them of allegedly poor state finance management between October 2010 and 2014.
Fayemi, now a Minister of Mines and Steel Development, was the governor during the stated period. The report declared them “as unfit to hold any public office in the state.”
