The man who played Barney's dinosaur took his career in another direction after becoming a tantric therapist in sex.
David Joyner stopped playing the lovable purple character in 2001 after wearing the T-Rex suit for 10 years. Three years later he started his practice and he now has 30 clients who he calls "goddesses".
He says he "unblocks the energy" of between two and four women every week.
And David's new career can not be much different than his time spent on hit kid's TV show. Instead of offering hugs to children as Barney, the 54-year-old now offers women orgasms through massage. One of his sessions at his Los Angeles, California clinic, may take three to four hours - and costs £ 250. And his clients can expect to receive ritual bath, chakra balancing and massage for the price. Speaking to Vice, Joyner said: "When the lingam (yaw) and yoni (vagina) are met, there is a certain energy that the hands in the body can not produce.
"Even through G-spot massage, it's still not the same energy that flows."
Surprisingly he even said his tantric teachings helped him while he wore Barney's heavy costume on set to help him "maintain an abundance of joy during the process".
He added: "Before I got into the (Barney) costume, I would pray and ask God to allow his loving divine spirit to flow through me through the costume and let that draw the kids.
"That energy will always draw them in. Children are more connected spiritually than (adults)."
Joyner finds his clients through word of mouth and even converts some he's met on Tinder into believers.
He discovered tantra aged 20 while training in Swedish massage.
He also claims he was not allowed to teach, practice or talk about tantra while he was under contract playing Barney.
