Abia Governor To Send 100 Shoe Makers To China For Training To Set Up Abia State Shoe Factory


30 shoe cobblers in Abia State will leave for the Peoples Republic of China on Friday to acquire more knowledge in their field.

The Governor of Abia State, Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu on Monday January 1, during a state broadcast to the people of the state announced that 30 shoemakers from Abia would be departing for the People’s Republic of China on Friday, 5.

 Ikpeazu stated that the 30 people whose majority, assembled people on the Ariaria International market were Aba, was the first 100-pack shoe from Abia State, which was subjected to intensive training in automated footwear manufacturing technology in China and said that the state government after returnees will to obtain a full range of equipment needed to set up the Abia State Automated Shoe Factory in Abi.

The governor added that the youths would form the nucleus of the workforce in the shoe Factory which shall be commissioned before June 2018 .
