The Chairman of Silverbird Group, Senator, Ben Murray-Bruce has re-emphasized the importance of entertainment industry to Nigerian economy.
Referencing the American series, ‘Star Wars’, which he said has grossed more Nigeria’s 2016 budget, he disclosed that entertainment is not just a show, but business, that is capable of growing the economy more than oil.
"If we get entertainment right, we won’t need oil. That is why I devoted my life to developing the entertainment industry.
You would be shocked if I told you that one movie series, Star Wars, has made more money than our 2018 budget. Entertainment is not just show. It is business" He said on Twitter.
