Serena Williams will return her to tennis just under four months after giving birth in an exhibition match in Abu Dhabi.
The 36-year-old played in a competitive match at the Australian Open in January when she was pregnant with her daughter Alexis Olympia Ohanian Jr., whose father is Reddit co-founder Alexis Ohanian.
Williams is aiming for a return to this same tournament, which is in a few weeks, and now it has been confirmed that she will participate in a warm-up tournament.
The 23-time Grand Slam winner will face another big winner, Jelena Ostapenko, on December 30, who surprised Simona Halep to win the French Open last June.
