Muslims reacts with fury as Trump declares Jerusalem Israel's capital

The Muslim world reacted furiously after Donald Trump said Jerusalem was the capital of Israel despite an international outcry.  Furious demonstrations are raging in Turkey, Gaza, following his historic intervention.  Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas immediately denounced the announcement accusing the United States of "withdrawing" from the peace process.  Reports in Gaza indicate that 250,000 Palestinians have descended in protest against Donald Trump's decision to proclaim Jerusalem as the capital of Israel. The Gaza News Twitter account, the official Gaza news agency report, said an angry march was underway in Gaza with filmed protesters waving Palestinian flags.  In Turkey, protesters gathered in front of the US consulate in Istanbul and the US embassy in Ankara.  President Trump has been warned that peace in the Middle East could be threatened if the United States becomes the first country to identify Jerusalem as the capital of Israel. The US embassies in London and Berlin have warned Americans to "stay alert" following President Trump's controversial speech in Jerusalem.
