Daniel reportedly refused to personally receive the court documents for a few weeks, which led the court to grant a substitution order, that the documents should be pasted on the portal of his house at Lekki Phase Two, Ajah-Lekki, Lagos , and in a national newspaper.
It may be recalled that on November 30, the Federal High Court of Lagos ordered all parties to maintain the status quo with respect to the contract initially signed in 2013.
The court documents were stuck at Daniel's door on Friday, December 15, 2017. Meanwhile, in the writ of summons served to the artist, the court ordered Kiss Daniel to appear before him within 30 days following receipt of court documents. the case would go to trial in his absence because the calls to Kiss Daniel were not answered, nor was a text message answered at the time of filing this report.
Other items served on the singer 'Mama' include: substitution order, subpoena, witness list, sworn witness statement, standstill order, among others.
