EFCC Raises Alarm Over Alleged Recruitment Scam

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, has expressed concern over alleged attempts by fraudsters to exploit its ongoing recruitment exercise. His spokesman, Wilson Uwujaren, said in a statement on Tuesday that the fraudsters were asking for unsuspecting jobseeker payments to ease their jobs in the commission. "It's a scam and members of the public are warned not to deal with anyone with such a proposal that the agency does not collect money from job seekers. "Candidates who participated in the commission's recent aptitude test should avoid falling prey to cheaters by avoiding any promise of employment for a fee. "The hiring process in the EFCC is open and transparent and can not be compromised by corruption," said Uwujaren. He advised members of the public to report anyone requesting money for a job on the board at the nearest EFCC office or police station.
