In a new photography book, ‘200 Women: Who Will Change the Way You See the World,’ has been launched.
Among these women is acclaimed novelist, Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie, who is described as one of the most inspiring, active, and intelligent women in the world.
The book contains the thoughts of these women on what they would change if they could and the single word the most identify with amongst other things.
Here’s is an excerpt of Chimamanda’s interview:
On what she would change if she could
I can’t pick just one thing; I would eliminate all forms of gender, racial and religious injustice. The issues are their own, independent issues, but they cannot be analysed in isolation from one another. It’s very complex and is always a work in progress for me — the issues are connected and they are not, but, however strong their connection to one another is, they’ve got to go!
On the single word she identifies with the most
Human.
