Angry Traders Attack FCDA Official AT Abuja Court

On Thursday, the FCT court in Abuja freed hell while the Utako market traders attacked an official of the Federal Capital Development Authority (FCDA), Mr. Dennis, inflicting head injuries.  Angry traffickers chased Dennis to the Court's Legal Unit to attack him on charges of conspiring with court officials to postpone his case indefinitely.  Sahara reporters report that he took the timely intervention of a police officer who was on the court premises to prevent merchants from killing him. It was gathered that the case between the Utako Market Merchants Association and the Abuja City Council Area (AMAC) had initially scheduled its hearing today, but the merchants who mobilized their members in court were told that the matter it would no longer be maintained due to the absence of the judge  The operators were stunned by the development and were furious because there was no new date scheduled for the case. They resorted to singing antigovernment songs and cursing the court officials accusing them of colluding with FCDA officials to stop the case.
