Reconstruction of the 35-kilometer Apapa-Oworonshoki expressway in Lagos will begin next week, said Dangote Group President Aliko Dangote.
In September, the federal government asked the Dangote Group to rebuild the road in exchange for a tax credit.
Speaking to correspondents of the State House after meeting with Vice President Yemi Osinbajo on Tuesday at the Presidential Villa, Dangote said "the Apapa-Oworoshoki path will begin next week".
The businessman said that everything that includes the design has been handed over to his group and that the contractors will be selected after the completion of the current tender exercise.
