What was supposed to be the routine inspection exercise of Governor Rivers, Nyes Wike, became controversial in Port Harcourt when his convoy was headed by Traffic Minister Chibuike Amaechi.
The incident that occurred on Saturday at the Nwanja compound in the Trans Amadi area almost resulted in a conflict between the security details of two.
Security Operators attached to Amaechi, which consisted of men from the Special Group for Fighting theft (SARS) in the state, allegedly destroyed the Wike companion rider apparently to create a way for the former governor.
The tension, however, intensified when some of the SARS operatives allegedly spun the guns, resulting in major security details to the governor who had physically driven the men.
The drama lasted more than 30 minutes before Governor Wike continued to look at some of the current projects in the state.
