Vieneese Stanton suprised her sick dad Preston Rolan, by wearing her wedding gown to the hospital he was being treated for leukemia.
The terminally ill patient who could not leave the UCSF medical center in San Francisco where he is being treated for blood cancer, leukemia was clearly happy to see his daughter on her wedding dress.
The doctors told her recently that she had to start talking to him about where he wanted to die. Of course, this made him change the date of his wedding so that he could walk her down the aisle.
"This conversation being necessary, I spoke to my fiance and told him we needed to make some changes," she said, adding that the marriage would not have been possible without the help of 150 nurses of the UCSF..
Rolan, speaking during the wedding, said he was delighted to see his daughter in her wedding dress.
