A British explorer has disappeared after venturing into a remote jungle in search of a lost tribe of headhunters for a BBC documentary.
Benedict Allen, 57, has not been contacted since he was dropped off by helicopter three weeks ago.
He did not have a phone or GPS when he entered the crocodile-infested jungle of Papua New Guinea.
The experienced adventurer was supposed to have started his long journey back Sunday, but there was no sign of him. His family is now worried that something bad has happened to him while he was searching for the "scary" and reclusive tribe of the Pacific.
