Nigerian Wrestling Champion Power Uti Arrested Over Wife’s Death

Police in Lagos allegedly detained the Nigerian wrestling champion, Power Uti, for the controversial death of his wife Toyin. Toyin said he died in their Iglise, Lagos home on Monday morning with an England wrestler revealing her body. However, instead of being taken to a hospital, Power Uti allegedly went to the church in search of spiritual help. Public Relations Officer Cole, allegedly confirmed that Power Uti was arrested for the incident and detained at Ilupeja's police station, adding that he would move him to the Panti Criminal Investigation Department in Lagos on Thursday. Toyin, 38, to death, was the mother of four children under the age of nine. Two are married for 10 years. Her body is stored in the Isolo General Hospital, while her four children are with her mother.
