Kaduna to recruit 25,000 after 20,000 Teachers fail Primary 4 Exams

The Kaduna state government has announced that it plans to employ 25,000 teachers after 20,000 people have been sitting for examination of the ability to primary school 4 and failed. Governor Nasir el-Rufai discovered it on the official Twitter account of State Governor Kaduna. He described him as impolite, sending someone without a qualification to teach the next generation to destroy them. He said this was a chance for young people who were qualified to return dignitous teachers.


He said:

Kaduna State Government to recruit at least 25 thousand teachers after over 20 thousand teachers fail primary 4 competence test.
It is impunity of the highest order to send someone who is unqualified to teach pupils, as they end up destroying the next generation.
We also have a problem with Pupil-Teacher ratio as urban schools have more teachers who aren’t needed. We are going to change that.
This is an opportunity to employ young people who are qualified and looking for jobs and also to restore the dignity teachers used to have.

The governor added that school directors have decided to enroll their wards in public schools at the start of the new session, in a bid to improve the education sector. He said:
