#mynameiskay To try to give up its role in banning the Indigenous Peoples of Biafra (IPOB), the second legislator of the republic, Junaid Muhammad, has described the governors of the Southeast as a bunch of confusionists.
Muhammad made the remark in response to an alleged statement by Governor Okezie Ikpeazu of Abia state that the governors of the Southeast only banned IPOB without declaring it a terrorist organization.
It might be recalled that the governor had revealed that "my duty and responsibility as on that day was to ensure that I avoided the bloodshed of the monumental proportion.
But in an interaction, the second Republican lawmaker held that "due to the fact that the Southeastern governors sat down and held a meeting to outlaw IPOB activities as a result of their violent nature of agitation, they justified their move to outlaw the activities of the terrorist, what President Buhari did was only to promulgate a decision, which had been taken by them earlier.
"But I assure you that if they proscribe or not, if they consider that IPOB is a terrorist organization, illegal or legal, is still banned and if they play games, they will be treated by law.
"IPOB is an Igbo project, so do not get confused, the Igbo are the ones who fund it, I do not care if the governors of the Southeast are not in support of the ban or not."
