Earthquake strikes off the east of Japan

#mynameiskay

A 6.3 magnitude earthquake hit the east coast of Japan, near the scene where the Fukushima nuclear disaster occurred. There are no immediate reports of victims or injuries. The earthquake struck 255 kilometers east of Ishinomaki, Honshu, at a depth of 10 kilometers, the US Geological Survey said. The epicenter was about 300km from Fukushima, where the tsunami caused a major earthquake to destroy the nuclear reactor in 2011 and caused great destruction. The Fukushima nuclear power plant was destroyed in March 2011 with a magnitude of 9 magnitude and a later tsunami, revealing huge amounts of radioactive material. The tsunami tsunami warning center says there are no tsunami consultations or watches right now.
