A School sues middle schooler for $19,000 after he destroyed classroom

#mynameiskay Oregon middle school lawyer sued with her parents after pouring hydrochloric acid throughout the science classroom.  Salem-Keiser's public schools filed a lawsuit on Monday, accusing a boy who was 12 years old at the time of vandalism in June 2016 - causing $ 19,000 worth of damages. OregonLive reported that Salem-Keizer Public Schools filed a lawsuit against a student who was 12 years old at the time of vandalism in June 2016 in a court case filed on Monday. Such a lawsuit is unusual - it is rare that a district lodges a lawsuit, let alone parents.  The municipality accuses her mother and father of not having "exercised reasonable control" over her son. The lawsuit claims that the boy had accumulated about a dozen discipline marks at the Crossler High School in eight months leading to damage, and at least two behavioral episodes prompted home calls.  Oregon / OregonLive does not identify a boy because of his age and the nature of the case. He also does not name his parents, which would basically identify the boy.  The father of the ghost said he did not want to pronounce for his son because the boy was injured. But he said some students were in the classroom in front of his son who should also be on the hook for the account.  He said his son was disciplined at home and at school. Consequences include community involvement, lack of playing in the Championship immediately after the incident and ban on another sports team about six months later.  According to the lawsuit, a boy and a friend began to wander in the school hall, checking the unlocked classroom door during the volleyball tournament. Two were able to enter class 106, a science classroom, and approached the transfer of hydrochloric acid, sulfuric acid, iodine and food colors. They dropped chemicals through the room, causing $ 19,293 in damages, according to the suit.  The lawsuit does not state whether the quarters have asked for a friend's payment.
