A total of 400 Boko Haram, Cameroon nationals, allegedly surrendered to a local vigilant group in the Mozog city on the Niger border in northern Cameroon on Friday.
Ousmane Kouil, a group of watchdog watchmen who was on Monday in Maiduguri and talked with journalists, said they were on patrols at the border area when they met with their families on fighting Harama bullfighters.
According to Kouiliji, former Boko Haram fighters admitted being captured by Boko Haram fighters during the attacks on their villages and taken to Nigeria, where they were forced to join the jihadist group.
He said, “Among the people we handed over to the Cameroonian authorities today are 70 men, 86 women and 244 children.
“They confessed that after spending two years with Boko Haram, they decided to flee their families and hand over themselves. They said they had fought for Boko Haram and chose to lay down their arms on their own will.” ❤ ❤ 2348050417551 available for a good time ... spill TEA.... Easy on Shade #jaiyeorie
