Vanessa Kingori, who has the Kenyan and Caribbean heritage, was confirmed as the new editorial director of British Vogue. After spending the Condé Nast layers as a publisher at GQ Style and British GQ, Condé Nast's consistent director, Albert Read, spoke very much of his word; "[She was] a means of doubling digital revenue with a renewed and very successful mobile first GQ website, Vanessa overseeing the highest total annual GQ yield over the past decade.With Vogue entering her new era, Vanessa is a clear choice for this post, is an excellent executive who has the ability to leverage the continued power of the press and, at the same time, embraces the platforms, ideas and collaboration that resonate with a new generation of consumers and clients. In 2016, she was also awarded the MBE in the Queen's Birthday Honors List and is a member of the consultancy board of the Mayor of London, Brexit. Beginning of its new position on December 23, Vanessa succeeds Stephen Quinn who announced his retirement last week after 26 years in a role. This report comes after Edward Enninful took over in August 2017, the editor-in-chief of the British Vogue.
