Ladd told journalist Soledad O'Brien and rapper Ice-T saying "They had all these other theories, but that was a very simple band for Tim and I. We believe Orlando Anderson was the one who did this." Officers working at Compton Police Station in California said they had Anderson on their radar after trying to kill someone else as part of a ganglion initiative at the age of 15.
