Visit to the National Association of Blind (NAB), a trophy experience - organized in collaboration with Coca-Cola - enabled players to experience the 28th of October as they were crowned champions: putting their hands on the trophy itself.
"These football players are a real success," says Satya Kumar Singh, Hon. Said Secretary General NAB, India. "We are happy that the efforts of Coca-Cola offered them the opportunity to spend their precious moments with the trophy when they could touch and feel it. The only joy and happiness that the team felt as part of something so historic is indisputable."
"We believe that the experience of the FIFA World Cup U-17 Trophy should be for everyone," said Nishant Pandey, director of the American India Foundation. "Sport allows us to push the limits and allow us to translate what we feel we can achieve. We are grateful to Coca-Cola and NAB to attract trophies to people who personify the positive ideas of football and sports."
Trophy experience will move to Goa, appearing at Goa's bunker on September 19th.
