The woman in China has recently become the first person to perform oral surgery exclusively using a robot.
Although the human doctors were in the room for the procedure, the robot independently installed two teeth in the mouth of the patient using pre-programmed instructions, according to the South China Morning Post.
Two new teeth, created by 3D printing, are successfully embedded in a woman's mouth.
Technology was invented by Wuhan University Stomatological Hospital and Beihang. Dr. Zhao Yimin, who works in the hospital, told the newspapers that the robot was designed to conduct dental procedures and avoid mistakes in human chaos.
