Concerned by the growing tensions in the country, the National Orientation Agency (NOA) calls for peace, love and tolerance to stop the ugly tide, at the same time inviting the moral authorities in the country to rise and warn their followers in the exercise of their duty to our communities.
Director General of the Agency, Dr. Garba Abari, in a message to the people after reports of disparities in parts of the country, called for calmness and restraint of citizens, encouraging young people to not allow them to be used as canonical fences to protect the fire of unrest. He said that Nigeria is going through experimental moments, and young people can not allow unscrupulous elements to use their youthful energy to trigger trouble.
Abari invited traditional and religious leaders to stand up to that occasion using their positions of preaching of love, peace, and tolerance, at the same time inviting parents, especially mothers, to thrive on their children and keep them from malicious decisions.
