Police officers at FCT Abuja on Thursday demanded from lawyer Clifford Eze, who allegedly forged a document on land that would deceive another man of a million million euros. According to the news agency Nigeria, NAN, Eze, Maitama, Abuja, a resident appeared at the FCT High Court in Apo on a six-month indictment that limits itself to cheating, breaching trust, forging and issuing checks. The prosecutor, Mr. Patrick Ogbele, told the court that Eze and Others, on a fake ground, collected N1 million of one of Mr Asekuna Adedoyin on April 16th. He said the lawyer had collected the amount on the land sales adjective Adedoyin. Ogbele said the country, located in Jikwoyi, Abuja, did not belong to a lawyer. According to him, the lawyer forged a letter of tender for the assignment / transfer of approval, transfer and power of attorney. He added that the attorney presented the letter as a true Adedoyin and turned N1 million for his personal use. The prosecutor also said that Eze had issued two Diamond Bank checkups N500, 000 Adedoyin, who were not honored for insufficient funds. He said that the offenses were in violation of the provisions of 97, 322, 312, 322, 364 and 366 of the Criminal Code. The lawyer, however, pleaded not guilty, and Justice Abubakar Idris-Kutig received a bail in the amount of N300,000 with one bail in the same amount.
