After 3 years of speculation, Katie and Baby Driver star Jamie finally confirmed their relationship - as her rumoured five-year public dating 'ban' from ex-husband Tom Cruise came to an end.
2 days after they were pictured taking a romantic stroll on a Malibu beach, Jamie was seen in public for the first time as he went to pick up food from a restaurant in Westlake Village, California.
"Congratulations," a reporter tells the 49-year-old as he makes his way to his silver Mercedes-Benz G-Class.
"What on?" the actor replies coyly.
"On you and Katie. You confirmed that... congratulations," he continues.
While pretending to ignore the comment, Jamie's cheeky grin says it all.
Katie and Tom divorced in June 2012, and while Katie, 38, got full custody of their daughter Suri, 11, her actor ex is believed to have made her agree not to get another boyfriend - at least publicly - until June 2017.
But with the ‘ban’ having expired almost three months ago, it’s happy days for Katie and her (not so) new man, Jamie, 49, who made their public debut strolling hand-in-hand along the beach in Malibu on Monday.
