The ex-governor who fled lost an electoral hotel in Singapore in his last wife who was accustomed to prey.
The former governor currently under investigation by the Commission for Economic and Financial Crime (EFCC) allegedly benefits from a $ 2.1 billion gun scandal.
Hanging around the door is also a claim that the office mismanaged N19.8billion public funds.
He refused to honor the EFCC call: 3000 / EFCC / ABJ / ASO / TM5 / VOL.5 / 596
The nation gathered as the former governor once worked in Dubai, Singapore, Hong Kong and Malaysia.
But after the recent signing of six agreements by Nigeria and the United Arab Emirates (UAE), he allegedly left Dubai for Singapore.
A highly-respected source familiar with the current measure of the former governor said the suspect entered a marriage with a woman's preference in Singapore with the aim of protecting the investment of his rescued funds at a hotel with a choice.
He allegedly bought a hotel on behalf of 'wife'.
"But the marriage turned into a fraud because the" wife "divorced the former governor and took possession of the hotel," the source said yesterday.
"The suspect is struggling to take over the hotel from his" wife. "However, it is doubtful whether he can be returned."
It is learned that the former governor is now in serious dilemma.
The investigation showed that over the N600million of the $ 2.1billion arm scandal fund so far has been tracked by a former governor.
The other source says the EFCC was on track in connection with the allegedly poor state fund management N19.8billion between 1999 and 2007.
"The documents showed that it collected the N600million illegally of $ 2.1 billion for the delivery of weapons through the National Security Adviser (NSA) office," the source said. ...
"Initially, the suspect was headquartered in Dubai, but after approaching the investigator, he left UAE for some of the countries he lived in.
"We are pushing for extradition to bring justice to justice. We will explore all legal options.
Responding to the question, the source added: "The former governor gives one excuse or another for failing to meet the EFCC call.
"At one point, the suspect said he had a heart problem, but the intelligence report confirmed it was turning."
Meanwhile, EFCC President Ibrahim Magu's office urged Nigerian youth to take legal action and become agents for change in the fight against corruption in the country.
Benin Zonal head of office, Mailafia Yakubu, presented at the event marking the celebration of the World Peace Day in Benin, told Mag that the biggest challenges facing Nigeria were "twin
evil of corruption and impunity. "
He accused young people of imbibing the culture of excellence as future leaders of the country and avoiding all forms of crime.
"Corrupt and other economic and financial criminals can no longer hide because the Commission is trying to bring them to justice," he added.
Magu said he was discouraged that some young men were involved in fraudulent fraud, but warned that the overwhelming economic challenge was not an excuse for the crime.
He said, "I agree that the country is going through the process, but it's not an excuse for committing crimes, legitimate in your business, so you are future leaders."
