President Bukhari among other world leaders sent a congratulatory message to German Chancellor Angela Merkel after the winners on recent polls.
In a statement issued by his special assistant on media and publicity, Femi Adesina, Buhari congratulated the German Chancellor for his ability to maintain the legacy of good work by producing good leadership for that country for over 12 years.
The president also talked about Markel's commitment to building stronger ties worldwide and the desire for a successful mandate.
