The Lagos DNA Forensic Centre, first of its kind in Nigeria, was officially commissioned by Lagos state Governor, Akinwunmi Ambode on Wednesday. This facility has the capacity to provide the Police, Prosecutors, Defense Attorneys and Private citizens with crime scene processing DNA analysis of bone, teeth and hair; paternal and maternal ancestry DNA analysis and mass disaster human identification.
