THE ENUGU JAMBOREE
We wish to bring to the attention of our members the deliberate misinformation, the same sinister misinformation that perpetuated and berthed the Enugu charade, that Ms Ibinabo Fiberesima and Emeka Ike endorsed the sad event that took place in Enugu on the 22nd August 2017. This is blatantly untrue.
The messrs Ibinabo Fiberesima and Emeka Ike denounce the Enugu ambush as not only an act of infamy, perfidy, a futile and crude power grab, but also completely dissociates themselves from it.
President Ms Ibinabo Fiberesima and Emeja Ike, the authentic true leaders of our Guild, have in a historic meeting in Lagos yesterday 25th August 2017, resolved to work together to bring lasting peace to Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN) and conduct elections that will usher in a new set of responsible leaders for our Guild.
I therefore enjoin our members to ignore and disregard the spurious and illegal "election" at Enugu and go about the normal business.
