Hair merchant, Mizwanneka, has a word for people who see their rich friends as their savior. In an Instagram post, she urged women who have influential contacts to take advantage of it by learning from them rather than boast about knowing them.
She said,
Dear ladies ! Plz note this, being friends with someone who’s rich doesn’t make you rich, especially when you know the person works really hard to be what they are.
Don’t relax and lazy about because you think u associate with the high and mighty, instead learn from them, tap from their blessings, try and see if you can work as much as they do, and pray even harder for ur own blessings.
Because at the end of the day , you don’t share the share bank account , and it’s not their duty to always give u money or anything. There’s always a limit to what someone can do for you, no matter what you mean to the person.
I stand to be corrected tho .. just that a lot of ladies especially have lost it, laziness has become the other of the day, all they wana do is bear the name “am friends with so so and so or I know the movers and shakers of this city (you can’t sit wit us) yes pls we know u know them, make good use of that fact and get something from it.
success is meant to inspire you to do more or be more. Don’t become a liability to urself and the society. Get up and take advantage of the good hardworking people around you, u are lucky to know them, so plz learn and work hard. if they didn’t work hard enough, you probably won’t be singing “yea that’s my friend or hey I know her. may God help us all in Jesus name. still with love from the #hairboss
