Rumors began to swirl last week as Migos rapper Offset introduced the issue to the former star "Love & Hip Hop" with a huge diamond ring. But that may not be the case.

Speaking with Charlamgane tha God on the blue carpet at the 2017 MTV VMA, Cardi reveals if Offset managed to get down on one knee and proposed. If you hope it had, you will have to resist your hopes a little longer. When asked if Offset was asking the question, she replied, "You see a ring on my finger?", Holding her naked finger up to the camera.

There is no ring there, which means no commitment.

However, Cardi said she would like to marry and have children. "I think every woman wants that," she said.
