Friday,September 9, at the 2016 BusinessDay Banking Awards which held at the Eko Hotel and Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos.
Herbert Wigwe, emerged the ‘Best CEO in 2016’ while the bank was also named as the ‘Bank Of The Year’.
United Bank for Africa (UBA), First Bank of Nigeria (FBN) and Zenith Bank carted away many awards in different categories.
The awards were presented by Femi Pedro; Nike Akande, president of the Lagos Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI); Uyi Akpata, country and regional senior partner, PWC West Africa; and by Air France.
