Vice President, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo, SAN, at his first participation of the administration at the Davos forum. will be participating in a number of panels highlighting the prospects of the Nigerian economy under President Muhammadu Buhari and will also be meeting other leaders.
During a session in which he participated, Osinbajo highlighted: ''Good governance and an emphasis on building transparent systems will rid Nigeria of corruption.
On Islamist sect, Boko Haram, he said: ''The real existential threat of Boko Haram no longer exists but there are pockets of suicide bombing.''
He added that: ''Low oil prices have freed up $15 billion in subsidy costs for Nigeria, noting that, “this is a plus for Nigeria.''
