Davido might be in trouble with the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency.
The NDLEA is reportedly currently investigating Davido (real name David Adeleke) for showing off hard drugs in his recently dropped music video ‘Fans mi’ featuring Maybach top artist, Meek Mill directed by SESAN.
Hmmm did they see the poundo yam and the mobster face when they opened the stuff...geeesh
According to Sunday Telegraph, NDLEA’s Head of Public Affairs, Mr. Mitchell Ofoyeju in an exclusive interview with them said,
“The agency considers the musical video ‘Fans Mi’ inappropriate and indecent. It has the tendency to negatively influence and induce drug use and trafficking.
Besides, it is counter-productive on the campaign against drug production, trafficking and abuse. The agency is investigating the matter and will take necessary action.”
Popular music video critic, Mrs. Nuella O’Peters also voiced her concerns on the video saying,
“It’s really outrageous seeing a brand ambassador and a mentor to millions of African youths indulging in such acts. He even went as far as using the substance for cooking in the video.
Can you imagine! It’s uncalled for. I do hope the Nigeria Broadcasting Corporation will do something about the video.”
