Katy Perry headlined Super Bowl XLIX halftime show at the University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale, Arizona.
The “Dark House” singer stormed the stage in a huge mechanical lion before she was joined on stage by rockstar Lenny Kravitz:
Lenny rocked out on his Gibson 59 Black Over Flame Top series guitar as he provided some vocals to Katy's "I Kissed A Girl"
Soon after, singer-songwriter Missy Elliot stormed the stage before screaming fans for a "surprise" performance. A few days ago, it was speculated Missy would be joining Katy for the halftime performance.Missy wowed the masses performing a medley of her hits including “Get Ur Freak On,” “Work It,” and “Lose Control.” Guess they wanted to keep the crowd guessing since they didn't perform their 2011 hit "Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F.)".
