The owner of the contentious Chinese supermarket in Abuja, Cindy Liu Bei, has reportedly fled with her family to avoid government invitation.
The supermarket gained notoriety following reports of its discriminating treatment of Nigerians, which incited outrage among the general public.

Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (FCCPC), a federal
government agency, through a statement released by Boladale Adeyinka,
Director of Surveillance and Investigation.
Speaking after she led FCCPC officials to seal off the premises, Adeyinka said, โThe
essence of the surveillance and investigation that we conducted today
is to verify the allegations and the content of that viral video.
โOn
arrival, we noticed that the supermarket which is right behind me, was
sealed and padlocked externally. Inquiries have shown that yes, as this
morning this supermarket was open and people were here.
โCCTV
footage also shows that in the morning, two vehicles departed from
these very premises allegedly containing the owner of the supermarket,
whom we have been able to identify by name and we have her contact
details.โ
She
added: โNow the summons of course since sheโs not around and the place
is locked, is to serve notice on her to appear before the federal
Competition and Consumer Protection Commission by Wednesday.
โThere
are other regulatory tools to be deployed, if she fails to attend to
this summon. The summons means that on entering into these premises they
must see the summon because that is how they gain access to it.โ

Lead British School Abuja has reacted to the viral video of a student being bullied by her classmates in a press statement.
A viral video online where a girl named Namtira Bwala was being bullied by her classmates in school.
The
student was seen receiving several slaps from her classmates while the
boys around were heard trolling and laughing in the background.
The
school reacted to the video as they disclosed in their
statement that they would be working with the perpetrators and their
families, and also offering counseling and disciplinary measures to
address their behavior.
Also, the organization release stated that the school
has begun a thorough investigation on the matter, reviewing the footage
and interviewing the witnesses of the case.

She said that she had rushed into a salon in Lekki and asked them to quickly loosen the hair for her. After the procedure, Lilian said that she had thought it would cost nothing more than 8 or 10K, but she was shocked to be handed a bill of N22K.
She added that she is not pleased with the exorbitant cost of making hair at Lekki, warning that she and others might revolt against their inflation of prices.
