Flavour Appears on MTV’S Catfish After American Woman is Scammed

Flavour made his television debut on the iconic MTV show Catfish when an American woman was duped.


The musician appeared via video chat after host Nev Schulman called him to confirm the name of the person with whom Kimberly has been in talks.

A fraudster had deceived Kimberly by using photos of the 'Ashawo' singer and created a social media presence with images and videos of the musician.


He had begged Kimberly for money despite claiming to be a well-known Nigerian singer, which had raised her daughter's suspicions.


Even after the crew involved was exposed, the individual acting as Flavour's manager demanded on payment before the 'imposter Flavour' could pick up the phone.


He did, however, pledge not to defraud women again after being discovered.

Flavour announced his involvement in 'Catfish' on his Instagram page and reiterated his commitment to the song.
