While reacting to this, actress Toyin Abraham reached out to the Chairman, Nigerians in Diaspora Commission, Abike Dabiri, via Twitter to help with their release. However, this did not go down well with Dabiri as Toyin Abraham just shared a screenshot showing that the politician had blocked her for “begging” for the release of the Nigerians. She wrote in an Instagram post accompanying with screenshot, “@abikedabiri you blocked me on twitter because I am begging you to please help in the release of our people in Cairo. please maam kindly block me here too maam.
