According to the story, ever since the maid moved into the residence of Haddad, he’s been pestering her for sex.
On the day in question, it is claimed that Haddad lured the househelp into one of the bedrooms and tried having sexual intercourse with her when his wife and other occupants of the house had gone out.
Her attempts to resist his advances reportedly infuriated Haddad, who slapped her and then struck her neck after which he dragged her to the bed and forcibly had sex with her.
In view of this, Haddad was arrested and at some point was even put on Oxygen-support awaiting court proceedings.
But there’s a new twist in the story. New evidence presented by lawyers of the suspect indicates that he was not even home at the time of the alleged rape as reported by the lady.
According to the lawyers, led by Ralph Opoku Adusei, their client had an alibi who could verify his whereabouts on the day of the incident.
Mr. Adusei added thiscourt proceedings when counsels for the suspect sought to secure bail for their client.
