The former defense minister, General T.Y Danjuma, celebrated his 80th birthday on Saturday, December 9th. A service of thanksgiving was held at Christ Cathedral in Marina, Lagos state. Yemi Osinbajo, Vice President, Former Head of State, General Yakubu Gown, Governor of Ogun State, Senator Ibikunle Amosun, Governor of Lagos State, Akinwunmi Ambode and others, were present. Later in the evening, a party was held at the Eko Atlantic Lagos State. Yakubu Dogara, Speaker of the House of Representatives, Ooni of Ife Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi, Governor of Kaduna State, Nasir El-Rufai, Minister of Transport, Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi, his wife, Lady Judith Amaechi, and 'other.
