Genevieve magazine boss captioned As a teenager at Methodist Girls High School i represented my school in 100 meters hurdles and went on to represent Lagos state at the state Championships all over Nigeria . I also founded the schools swimming club and took my members to Row park Yaba to train.. I thought I was going to grow up and and take up a career in sports .. oh well! But then I am still in the sports business , I am still in the race , I am still an athlete, I am now a long distance runner; not on the turf or tartan track scaling the hurdles but as an entrepreneur! Entrepreneurship is a long distance race, it’s not a dash to the finishing line .. sometimes you fall, you lose stamina, you pull a muscle but you keep running.. I may be 60 but I am still in the race of life ..I am still in the race, I am still in the race.. I won’t stop.. I am still in the race ...my name is Betty!! I know who I am! I am still Running on the turf called LIFE!

No one can love you better than you.
Having survived depression, I know what the triggers are and I have learnt to be proactive rather than reactive. I know better how to avoid stress and potential mood swings ..a good workout at the gym is always a mental and physical booster for me. I have mastered the art of taking my mind and body out on a date to the gym and spas and cinemas and even go on digital devices detox..
when you feel life is closing in on you, take yourself on a date .. find your sweet spot...,the weekend is here again..you have earned the right to a treat ..
Stay happy , stay blessed..love yourself as only u can
