Madonna moves to Lisbon as Son David joins Football Club

Madonna has moved to Lisbon, Portugal, to allow her 11-year-old son, David Banda, to join the youth academy at the Benfica football club. According to AFP, Madonna has stayed in a hotel in Lisbon, while a house she bought in the village of Sintra, 30 kilometers from the Portuguese capital, is undergoing renovation. The house is said to be a 19th century building, and was put up for sale for $ 9 million. The house could take 6 months to renew, AFP reports.
Sports blogs had reported in June that David, 11, was prepared for a trial in the best Portuguese club of Benfica. David, whom the Like A Virgin crooner adopted in 2006, is one of four children he adopted from Malawi.
