Speaking on the topic, “The wait is Sexy,” during a TEDx Talk, Yvonne explained that after her parents warned her against dating, she made up her mind to have sex when she turns 18 because, then, she would be an adult.
“Bamboozled by Jesus” in college at 17, Yvonne could not fulfill her wish and now at 33, she is still a virgin.
Interestingly, her parents wants her to bring someone home.
“Yvonne, time waits for nobody, you are no longer a spring chicken, you are ripe for marriage,” they tell her.
For Yvonne, the wait is worth it as it sifts out the riff raffs.
