Prince, whose full name was Prince Rogers Nelson, is not known to have had any children, but in a court order dated on Friday, Minnesota District Court Judge Kevin Eide had foreseen that parentage issues might arise as the probate case goes forward.
The exact value of Prince's estate has not yet been disclosed but his music catalog alone has been estimated at more than $500 million. Administrators of his estate said they still had not found a will. In the absence of a will, six siblings or half-siblings ofthe star have been listed as his heirs in court documents filedin Carver County District Court in Chaska, Minnesota.
In an affidavit filed, Williams' mother, Marsha Henson, claimed that she met Prince in July of 1976 at a hotel in Kansas City, Missouri. Shortly thereafter, she claimed in the affidavit, they had sexual intercourse and conceived a son. Nine months later, she gave birth to Carlin Q. Williams on April 8, 1977, she added.
Williams is currently serving time in federal prison in Colorado for weapons transport, according to federal court records obtained by ABC.
